Welcome to SL...

First off, I think you will find that everyone here loves their xB...including me...

Personally, I have had 3 new cars in the past two years...and this is by far my favorite of the three...

I traded in a 2003 Honda Civic with 20,000 miles on it for the xB...and I would do it all over again...

Average walk out price, at least for me was between $15,000-$15,500 w/o any accessories cept floormats...

Good luck with your research...ask questions if you have them...and be sure to use the search function (it is the best way to find out information about the car)...

No real packages on these things, just options. Pure Pricing Policy, everyone pays the same.

Now I own an xA, so I can't give you a personal opinion of the xB. They have the same drivetrain so I can say that it is very reliable and gets good gas mileage. My xA is a manual and I have drive many other cars equipped with manual transmissions, and this car is by far the easiest I have yet to drive. xB's have more interior room than an xA and are heavier by about 100lbs. It has enough pep to get me around and passing power. Well theres my 2 cents, hope it helped...

1.) Get the 5 speed
2.) Get the XM radio

Makes the difference between a good car and a *great* car IMO.
