Default Question about the RS 2.0

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times (i searched twice and found nothing), but i'm looking into ordering a scion very soon, and i would like to get a yellow one, how hard (if even possible) is it to get a hold of one of these brand new? The salesmen down at the local scion dealership dont know squat about any of the scions. Could someone point me to a post about how to go about getting one? Thanks in advance!

I have one on order from Alexandria Toyota in Va, was told by the dealer that I would get the first automatic in the DC area, now have found out two dealers in the area already have one. Should be an interesting conversation with the dealer this morning.

Will let you know what happens

^^ I had the same issue getting my RS1.0 ... apparently certain locations are allotted a certain amount of cars, some get more than others. At least that's what Scion headquarter peeps asked me when I called them to ask why my dealership was taking so long to get one, yet the one across town had 5.

Each dealer must "preference" your new scion from Toyota. Here's an interesting read on how scion allocations happen:

I find it hard to believe that service has degraded to the point where consumers know more about a product than the salespeople do. My salesrep didn't know anything about the RS 2.0 until I emailed him the presslink. But then again, I asked in December...

You won't believe this. Went to dealer to order black xB with couple extras. Pulled up and there sat a xB 2.0. Asked the dealer if it was sold yet. He said that he had appointments scheduled for the morning. I drove home with #657 that night. Of course it is yellow with five speed and spoked rims. It is a blast to drive.
