I got my box yesterday twenty miles so far time to mod.I want a flat rear floor how do I remove rear seat bottom?

bottom of the rear seats.. pretty sure they just pop out if you lift them enough...dont think they are bolted in.....i know the backs are bolted in..you can access those bolts by pulling out the rear cargo storage pannels/tire... only like 4-5 bolts for that too..i believe

Feel under the front edge bottom to determine exactly where the latch point is located. Lift on each side of that point as close to the latch as possible. Might have to "grunt" a little!!

With everything removed how flat is the back?
Is it one level all the way thru or does it go up and down?

it is not flat at all.

 

Just like any other car without back seats. Not smooth.

 

In this Sound Deadening Tech Article (https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=65529), you can see how flat the floor is. It seems reasonably flat to me. Better than most cars.
