i have the black sand pearl as well. i'm surprised that i was one of the few with black at the scion exposed event. i wanted the blue, but i just loved the black when i saw it in person, so i got it instead.
I'm looking forward to it being much easier to keep clean than the black Toyota Tercel I traded in for it.

Wanted a black cherry pearl, but ended up getting a Thundercloud as the dealer did not have access to any manual cherrys. Really liking the silver, though! Won't be nearly as hard to keep looking good as the white VW Beetle I traded for it.
