i found some strut bars on ebay for like $40, is that a good investment? or is it something that doesnt do anything really?

 

What brand?? What do they look like?? Will not do any harm, and the price sounds right.

They don't do alot for handling but look good under the hood. Price is pretty good on the one you posted.

the reason why i didn't get a cheap strut bar like this one, was i am terrified of poor quality on welds, so i searched e-bay and found a hotchkis one for eighty dollars shipped, the way i look at it a cheap car, you can go with cheap mods, this is my first new car that i put a down payment on my eighteenth birthday it only gets respected name brand parts period. But to each there own, if you do get it can you show pictures of the welds i think that it would put a lot of people at ease to have a definitive answer as to there quality.

 

IndigoXb- how long ago did you get that hotchkis strut bar, haha that would be funny if you were the one that outbid me not too long ago on it...grr...

They are mostly for looks so find one that is well built ans looks nice. They also do cut down on tower flex and shake during hard cornering.
