hey yall i just put my box on air and everyone is telling me to move my fender out by putting a small spacer in between the fender and were it mounts to clear my tiers, witch is cool but they also say that i need to fab a bracket to move out the bummper and i have no clue as to how or were i should put this braket .... does any one have any pics i can look at.. thanks

 

you may just be rubbing, a simple fender rolling will do the trick!

front fenders are a pita to roll, the metal is way thin and flimsy.

 

If you are rubbing you need different offset wheels. I've seen other xBs on bags with zero rubbing and zero rolling of the fenders.

 

to get really low you've gonna have to roll/cut/modify the fenders.


the little bracket you need to fab holds the bumper to the fender.

 

i assume you have real wide wheels?
cut your fender and do flares

 

Flairs = Band Aid plus look ricey/tacky
Please keep Scions rice free?

yeah, sounds to me like you have a too wide wheel or a wheel with the wrong offset. i had 18x7.5 with a 42 offset and had no problems with my fenders clearing the wheels when i aired the car out.
