This is not the normal Maintenance needed light. It is above the oil light on the right, and is yellow, not flashing, not square. PEP boys said it means air in the gas line, go to the dealer. Is it check engine? Is it air in gas line? Any help appreciated. Does not go off with gas fill up. Came on randomly after parked. Previous driving was across the street, with no light, although I drove from Ohio to Florida recently with no light.

The CEL (check engine light) can come one for hundreds of reasons. Did pep boys do a diagnostics on your vehicle? They can run a diagnostic by hooking up to the car's computer and see which codes come up.

 

See if your gas cap is on tight...
