Weight adhesive on Wheels.
 

So when I got my wheels re-balanced they decided it would be a good idea to move the weights. When they did this they left the adhesive on my wheels. I have white wheels so this sticks out like crazy. Does anyone know the best way to remove this. Thanks for any help in advance.

I've always thought Goo Gone works pretty good. Might take a few applications.

Goo Gone is indeed your best bet. You can get it at Home Depot in the paint department.

not that they "decided" to move the weights but rather "had" to move them to get the wheel in true balance, the purpose of the weighs is to balance out any points on the wheel that would prevent it from spinning 100% perfect. each wheel and tire need to be balanced seperately, because no 2 are going to be identical... sucks that they didn't clean up the old adheasive... specially since i bet your wheels look nice, and are not stockers... i would have if i was doing it..... try goo gone, or rubbing alcohol... goo gone should work pretty good... if not, warm it with a heat gun and try to roll it off with your fingers.

WD-40 works great also.
