what where your first mods
The biggest dyno numbers I have seen, have been right around 150whp. Thats with a great deal of work + turbo. As for first mods, I will have about 6 that I will do when I get my scion. So I just got to figure out what part will be the first to put on
I took the stock intake apart and removed the resonator right after the MAF sensor to improve the amount of airflow. I bought a 2 in to 2 in rubber connector used to join pvc pipe and extended the length of the stock intake pipe to relocate it lower and further away from the engine. I also put a temperature sensor in the the intake pipe to monitor air temp. I don't have a dyno or the means to use one but I can feel a difference by the "seat of the pants". I plan to put a stiffer anti-roll bar in the rear to improve handling. And further down the road... better tires. My member page is jblack5, you can find pictures of the setup and the results.
I got springs, short shifter, clutch from the dealership. My first mod I did on my own was intake, then rear sway bar, later header, then after that exhaust. next on the list is Blitz compressor, further down the road some wheels and tires.
By the way, there are alot of "what was your first mod" threads, try searching
