Watched a couple of dark and dreary videos on YouTube to install the resistor...not helpful at all! Im unclear as to the exact location and the best road map to get to where I need to be. Can someone turn a flashlight on for me? I know its behind the glove box. I know you don't have to take the qhole dash out. But what am I looking for , and exactly what is blocking the way and what it all looks like??!

I need to update this a bit as the manual is now gone (cease and desist order) . I'm getting back in there this weekend as after dismantling and rebuilding last year - (we didn't find a fault) - but now the fan has been going off and apparently is finally off consistently, so we should be able to find the cause of the problem now.

I found some wiring diagrams on line and wrote myself a diagnostic. I will post it if it works out.

At 95K miles, this is the only issue the car has had, other than the dropping idle speed - fixed with a simple turn of a screw.

I need to edit my avatar pic as well, the bandit (great bike) is now gone; replaced with an FZ-09 (stunning bike)
