Windshield Issues ?

Anybody else have a problem with the windshield on their xB? Mine is slightly blurry. It took several days and a couple Toyota/Scion sales guys and finally a service guy before they saw the problem. They said it's covered under the warranty and ordered a new windshield for me.

The explanation I got was that a windshield contains 2 plates of glass with a plastic layer between them (for protection in the event the glass breaks). Apparently, that plastic layer didn't stick right.

I thought it was just a problem with my car because I didn't recall seeing it in other xBs that I had test driven (I didn't test drive my car because I ordered it online and over the phone). But I noticed another black xB in the showroom today that had the same exact problem.

How widespread is this?

Thanks.

Hmm, not sure about mine. Guess I have to check. But I do see 4-suction cup marks on the Windshield. Toyota sure uses some powerful suction cups to transfer the windshield. LOL  Now how do I take that off?

Windshield concerns

A couple of us got to talking and mentioned that our windshields are nicked from small rocks flying on the freeway. I know of at least three xB's with pits in the glass. Seems the angle of the glass doesn't reflect rocks as effectively as sloped glass does. Anyone else have the same experience?
