I got this xB as a fathers' day present - I have no record of the last oil and filter change, so I will do it now. Does the MAINTENANCE REQUIRED light come on at the updated time? Do I have to change the reading myself? Since I don't drive it much, I plan to change at 3000 mile intervals using Conventional 5-30 oil, but not cheap parts store brand.
PS: I GUESS I SHOULD BuY THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Maintenance Required indicator light comes on every 5,000 miles if you reset it.
