Default xB refresh, looking for ideas

Hey folks, looks like I'll be the primary driver of my old xB again, just had our first kid and putting my wife and daughter in our safest car (Passat), and using the best mpg for my commute to work. It has been my wife's DD for quite awhile now, and I'm already looking at ways to refresh the ride.

Just about 98k miles, has had services all taken care of, we're the original owners, and the only 'mods' are an Injen SRI (replaced the OEM AEM CAI junk), grounding kit, and some yellow bulbs in the OEM fogs. Other than that the car is stock.

The driver side rocker panel is all torn up but I have a new one from eBay that will get put on in the near future. I'm thinking at this time it might not be a bad idea to look at replacing the suspension, and upgrading the lighting. I work a 12hr shift so I leave in the dark and come home in the dark, and as much as I like the stock setup for looks, I'd love to get some quality projectors and use HIDs for some better light output. As well, if there are any known good reverse light options to get better output...it is just painfully dark at times.

The car has somewhat new tires (Pirelli P4) so I don't see any need for a new wheel/tire set anytime soon.

Any other thoughts/suggestions?

Default Upgrade 1st gen Xb

How about some new wheel or seat covers? I think these neoprene coverkings(link below) look really great and I will buy them after I ship my car from Hawaii to Vegas next May. You can always google "discount autoanything.com" and get either a 10-20% discount or free shipping or both!

A car dvd player is really nice esp. since they're a lot cheaper than when I bought mine back in 2006. A great thing to have if you ever sell the Xb, which I would highly recommend NOT to do unless you have to lol.

Maybe new wheel covers unless you have rims.

Can you provide pics?, maybe it'll bring some other ideas to mind.
