Greened out my Headlights..
sorry i've taken so long to put up the pics. miami weather has been gross lately. plus i need to take day and night pics to get the full effect. i personally love the way mines look and i get tons of compliments on them from drivers of different types of cars. i think the black and yellow looks good on any color if you get yellow fogs, but that's just me.
if i had a silver one, i'd probably do black with chrome accents. just to keep the clean look the silver ones have. now if you want to go funky, black and orange looks DOPE. i did it at first and it looked seriously sick but didn't match my fogs at all so it had to go. plus the way i did it has a weird effect at night that i knew would get me in trouble with the cops.
and btw, i used nothing but pin stripe tape, plain old glass tint and flat black spray paint on mine. there's no need to spend money on expensive "jdm" or whatever paint. and mines have held up perfectly fine for months now. i think i spent like ten bucks on materials. as long as you make sure the surface is clean the paint will stick.

I've got a question.how hard was/is it to mask off the areas you didn't want painted?.did you mask it off with tape? I'm just curious because I want to black mine out and leave the ring around the projector to stay chrome.
it wasn't hard, just time consuming, i used painters tape and pinstripe to get it just right. just make sure the paint is totally dry when you pull it off and be sure to do it slowly.
no spacers. the front rubbed a little over dips but a very light fender roll fixed it. i'm on df's though so it's to be expected.

I'm really liking the look of those black and yellow headlights with the chrome trim.
My plan is to do some color matching: I'm going to repaint the interior plastic trim the matching color of the calipers and the headlights. After seeing this sweet trim look you have going on, I am stoked.
I have a CSM and I want a funky color for the Scion, but I want it to look good. What do you think I should do? I think red or green would be pretty sweet together. But I have no idea how to approach this.

i personally wouldn't do either color. the funkiest i would do is a light candy blue in the high beam and then make some clear side markers and paint the rest black and leave some chrome accents. i think that black, chrome and light blue could look really nice on a silver xb as long as it's done well. of course there's always the possibility of getting pulled over so take that into consideration before you make a decision.
the great thing is you can literally do anything you want, and if you aren't happy with the look, it's not that big of a deal to change the colors around. the reflective paint comes off very easily.
