Ah, gotcha. I'd have to look into making those if I did LEDs. Not sure what all it entails or how exactly to retrofit with LEDs, but it could be cool.
Okay, wait. You originally said they "...don't want insurance rates to go up..", so why are you settling for anything other than a new, freshly painted OEM bumper and install from a dealer? They're paying, right?
I guess I missed something.

A) my paint isn't anywhere near a factory option, and B) I don't want to force a fellow college student to pay any more than necessary. As long as the bumper looks fine (no dents, gouges, etc) I don't care where it came from, especially because it has to be repainted. I'm not gonna force someone to go through a dealer.

I looked it up on an Acura forum and it looked super easy. Plus I live with a few electrical engineers and a computer science major who loves LEDs, so this is gonna be a home brew. I'm excited to tackle this.

So bringing this thread back from the dead (that's my right as the OP, right? Haha).
I'm swapping to the new bumper and I'm considering the new tails, but I realized I'd have to do wiring and get new reverse light sockets. I'm curious if anyone has tackled this in the past or am I now responsible for a write up if I go for it?

Probably been done, at least with the folks putting the Rumion tail lights in, but I'm not sure I've seen a write up. I say you are responsible for the write up. That said, you can grab the reverse wire in the rear driver's side corner of the hatch just before it goes under the car. That's where I've connected to before.
