Default Swap 2010 to 2012 Rear Bumper / Tail lights?

Has anyone done this or think it's even remotely possible without spending a million dollars?

Id Like to take the tail lights from a 2012 and place them onto my 2010 so I can get both Reverse lights.
And then swap the bumper out so Replace the single reverse light with the two (what look like) Brake lights in the Bumper.

Do it. Bumper cover and tail lights are the 2 obvious things u need. Not sure if the actual steel bumper is different or the styrofoam piece inbetween.

Some wiring mods are going to be necessary as well. All in all i dont see why its not possible.

Side note; while youre there just get the rumion tail lights and bumper cover *BALLIN*

I've been thinking about having that extra reverse light, although, I do have aftermarket Longo tails and I'm not ready to replace those bad boys just yet
You don't have to modify the bumper, you'll just have a gap. If you don't want said gap, acquire and paint new bumper. Not hard.

Nor I. Rear bumper is almost $200 from the dealer and tails are roughly $140 a side. I can'trecall the exact number, but it's not too bad.

js2sta's post on this thread - post #10 - has a link to another scion site. on that site/thread, there are pics of someone that did this with a closeup of the gap.

I kinda like the gap. Makes it look like some kind of air vent/duct for the brakes. The Ferrari 458 Italia's headlights come to mind... Maybe it would look better with some mesh in between? LED's?

Probably the worst post of the year.

Scion isn't a Ferrari. The gap would look better if it simply wasn't there...
