Default 2010 xb auto trans fluid checking
HI, How do you check the trans fluid level on a 2010 xb. On my old car you had to have it running and up to temp. Is it the same for Scion's? Thanx

I'm not sure, because I generally just pull the stick when its cold when I check the oil and keep an eye on it that way. Is it not in the manual? Usually the proper way is listed there.

MNscionxb, of course i know to read the dipstick, but some cars you check it with the engine running, trans in park, and some you cars you check with the engine off. What type of fluid is used? Dexron? Thanx

With the auto, you check it idling in park while its hot.
