2012 Oil Consumption
I just purchased a beautiful Army Rock Metallic 2012 xB with only 51,000 miles. I’ve driven it for only a month for about 1800 miles and noticed I was a quart low on dipstick... This was a pre-certified car so I have a good warranty up to 100,000 mile coverage... Haven’t complained yet but very irritating having just purchased car! Should I demand they do an oil consumption test?

Yes, you should take it in. It will pass because you're not burning enough according to Toyota's standard, > 1 qt. per 1000 miles, but it will establish the issue in their records so when it gets worse you won't have a problem.

thanks thats good advice...possibly burned about a half quart so not too bad yet but just purchased car!
