Default Cracking or popping noise from the car

I dunno why but I'm hearing A LOT of cracking and popping noises from my 08 xb whenever i'm driving around.

Kinda like the sound when u turn off the car after a drive. it sounds like metal popping noise when the car is cooling down

Does anyone experience this?

Do either of you have the rear sway bar?

I was hearing these sounds like a piece of gravel being kicked up every once in a while and hitting the inside of the wheel well. Figured out that it was the cargo floor not locked down. Check that out.

I hear it on mine every now and then. I have not looked into it a whole lot. I know my tC did it also. I figured I would give it a couple months and see if it still does it.

I think I hear something every time I hit a bump while making a sharp turn.
This is after sway bar was installed.

i gotta revise the sound that I'm hearing. Its like those metal *tink* sounds when u turn off ur car after a long drive.

also, i dont have any suspension mods yet...

If you have the cargo cover, some noise is from those little ball weights on the tethered lift cords.

i have had the same sounds coming from the rear. check all the jacking equipment in the cargo area and make sure the spare is secure. i put padding under all the equipment back there and its helped, but its still there. (and thats with/without swaybars)

i suspect it might just be gravel hitting your exhaust

ive got some stickies on and they kick up sand and gravel all the time. once driving through a sandy area i heard a similar "tink" sound and i freaked. my rear passenger pointed out it was gravel hitting the exhaust and that sounded all good to me.
