well, hey, isn't there a surefire way to replace scube with something straight through and quiet?I got the tsudo dual setup and Tenzo intake.Eventually WR header and S-pipe.but the scuba is veryrestrictrive, probably even on gas mielage...If one were to run a resonator would 2.25 be quiet but still free power? Stupid EPA crap...

going 2 cats because i already lost one with changing headers and i can kinda smell the fumes more with out that cat
would a 30" glasspack only do what the scuba did as far as sound?I'm used to hopping up older cars.take the cat off and replace with a piece of pipe, there you go. I dnt want a brandnew car to sound too loud or bad...

same here want to get rid of "scuda in the worst way. Can't afford headers or custom (weapon R) S pipe now. Just want to unbolt scuba at stock S pipe and my tsudo dual connection. then have shop put high flow cat and resonator/muffler in place

Thats what i did. Had a magnaflow put in the scubas place. Took it to a muffler shop, the cut it off, fitted the magnaflow and customized the rest of the piping for me. It was really really loud when i first got on it and i was like HOLY ****! but ive gotten used to it. I actually might put my stock reso back on with the magnaflow to quiet it down

Yeah, I have the Borla Dual Exhaust, I want to get it louder, but not too loud. What can I buy to replace the scuba? You mentioned the MagnaFlow, how loud will it be if I replace it with that? Where can I purchase that?

Just go to a muffler shop and they should have it. They will most likely give u their longest muffler. 14inches. Thats what i have..

But going from dual borla with scuba to dual borla with no scuba and magnaflow!!! Its loud! and when i say loud....i mean loud. i would almost not reccommend doing this. But i myself wanted something a lil louder. Its only noticable if you really get on it. like from a stop. and at high speeds you can really hear it. But if you drive normal and you want the occasional loudness i suggest doing that. Itll take some getting used to cuz the sound difference is HUGE when you first get it..

"I actually might put my stock reso back on with the magnaflow to quiet it down"

Since there is more sound coming out without the scuba tank and just the magnaflow. i was gonna put the stock reso back on to muffler more sound. But you will lose alot of noise

Here is a crapy vid of replica trd cat-back and HKS axel back. Consider the fact that I still have the factory exhaust manifold w/cat, so with a header and s-pipe could be very loud. Not to loud, and under load acutally sounds pretty good with very minimal drone. Figured for liltle over a 100 bucks might as well give it a chance.
