Aesthetics.

lowpatrol 05-23-2008 02:18 AM

so its just for looks...thats cool cause it does look good

redline8k 05-23-2008 02:25 AM

I guess twin/dual tip should be the correct wording. Your right, true duals would be pointless. Its just for looks to fill out the body kit I want.

So are you saying that the $424 cat back magnaflow system sounded stock?

pierre_tec 07-27-2008 07:58 PM

sorry to be so retard but you only got header and the magnaflow in the middle leaving the stock muffler???

kapo 08-02-2008 07:38 AM

THAT sounds really good!

Beezer30 08-04-2008 03:21 AM

magnaflow update

I am about 225 miles post-install on this cat back and so far good.

The sound a low rpm's is pretty low with a nice rumble. At cruiding speeds above 45mph the exhaust note is a little harsher than stock, but again not raspy or cheap sounding.

The set up definitly sound a little more aggresive after some heat has transfered through the system.

If the sound opens up just a little more after a few more miles, I will be very pleased with it.

What are your experiences with break in mileages on these cat back systems in general?

Zsanz 08-04-2008 04:19 AM

ima just get a 80 dollar high flow and swap it out for my stock one paired with my borla. well see how that sounds.
