Default No crank no start 2014 Scion xB

I have been having problems with my 2014 Scion XB second gen. It only starts once in the morning. When I turn the key on acc, No radio or headlights come on. The digital speedometer also cuts on then off. (start). Sometimes I turn the key to acc and the radio stays on and the headlights work. Then it either clicks off when I turn the key or actually stays on and I can start the car. But most of the time I turn the key and no radio or headlights will come on.
First code was the crank position sensor. Which probably had to do with low oil. I put oil in and it went away. It would start and run for a short period of time. Then it wouldn't start after long drives till the next morning . Then one day it actually stalled while driving. Then it threw the starter relay code. I have searched all over the forums and cannot seem to find the location for the starter relay. I did think it might have been a ECU problem. But I ordered one and it didn't work.

Now please. I have checked the basic stuff. Fuses , wires , alternator , battery, starter. I also replaced the ignition switch. Please do not recommend these. I need the location to the starter relay or maybe if someone has had this type of problem. This is driving me nuts . Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again.

First series of issues sounds like a problem with the ignition switch, but you say you changed it
Pretty sure the crank position sensor has nothing to do with low oil - do you have an oil burning problem? Is your engine seizing up?
The start relay sits on top of the start motor. Check pictures on Rockauto.com
How is the battery in your key doing?

Pull your air box and check the main engine ground underneath it. These have a tendency to come loose and/or corrode from salt if you're in the rust belt states.

Ok no I don't have a seized engine. It starts almost every day. I really don't think the cps has anything to do with the actual problem. I think it's that relay built in the solenoid. I'm gonna go with that. I will let you guys know what happens. Thanks.

Ok yes I already pulled that air box, to get to the starter and checked the ground with a multimeter. Everything registered full power.
Im actually in the mountains of N California. The initial problem came my car sat for 12 days with a few feet of snow on it. It started and I drove down the hill. And it wouldn't start after I parked it.

Ok yes I replaced the key battery and it wouldn't start till the next morning like usual. I just replaced the starter and still the same issue. I have checked the 3 main grounds. My battery has juice. Alternator was putting out 14+v. The weird part is the radio ,headlights, and speedometer will not come on till its ready to start.

Well I was hoping someone would have had a similar problem but it seem I am cornered. Anyone need a 2014 scion? 😂

Try to visually inspect the fusible links next to the under hood fuses to see if one of them has a crack. It's possible that once everything warms up that it is loosing connection. I don't think this is likely but you've checked most of the usual trouble spots.

Yes I have checked those too. They seem to be connected. No burns or anything. I will give it a quick double check. Thanks for the info.

This is going to be tricky to find - as you know - I wonder if the meltwater got in somewhere, like the fuel tank, charcoal canister etc etc. Could be that a critter got in and started chewing on some wires.

Could have started some of the electrical connectors to begin to corrode. Might be worth a session of pulling apart connectors, spraying wd40 or something and reconnecting them a few times to do some corrosion wiping. At least that is free(ish).

Default Problem fixed.

Ok I end up taking it to a professional. It turned out it was a ground behind the dash. That they were either slightly connected or not clean. So definitely check for other grounds of you have abnormal problems.
