Default Question: Tenzo-R Cold Air Intake change to Short Ram?

Good Morning!

so over the weekend my driver side inner fender well flew off leaving my Cold air intake fully exposed to today's ridiculous rain in the tri-state area (NJ).

My question is if anyone can verify if the Tenzo-R Cold Air Intake's filter can be attached to just the first section of piping so that way my filter isn't really close to the ground/puddles.

My car was bogging; white smoke out the exhaust; etc. very nerve racking. Got to work okay though thank goodness.

Thanks,

PM

just as an FYI; i was able to take out the 2nd pipe that feeds to the bottom (near wheel well) and attach the filter to the first pipe (that contains the MAS).

so now rocking a shortram.

i was about to post you can certainly do that. Sometimes i do it in the winter just to be safe. makes cleaning that filter hella easy.

The same thing happened to me, I cut the cold intake to a short ram. I like it better!
