Mystery engine noise once I set on a speed?
I recently picked up a 2010 xB in Pretty Good Shape. At speed, say 70 mph, I hear a faint noise, almost sounds like a lifter. I accelerate slightly or take my foot off the gas for a second and the noise goes away temporarily.
The car has 175k on it. I know the previous 1 owner and I believe he took care of it as far as oil changes and regular maintenance. Does anyone out there know what the noise could be?
I'm going to swap the plugs tomorrow to see what that does. If no change, could it be the timing chain/belt?
Thoughts??

Probably not the timing chain. At that mileage I would guess the valves have a lot of hard deposits on them. Try running some Seafoam through the engine and see if that helps clear it up.

Can you post a video of the funny noise
At 175K miles, funny noises can be expected and this overhead cam engine does not have lifters.
I doubt changing the plugs will make any diff. It isn't the timing chain either. The inverted tooth chains don't wear and barely stretch.

With videos, I think you have to have a hosting site such as youtube or ??? Then you can link it and it won't clog up this server
The chain symbols gives you a link, but I don't know what "Source" means
