I have a 2008 xB with manual 5 speed. I'm getting a new engine for it and I want to know if there is any difference to the mounting on the long block than for an automatic.
Are the mounting locations different from the automatic?

The driver's side motor mount is different but that one mounts to the transmission and not the block. All the other mounts are the same between both manual and automatic so as long as you are not changing the transmission then you should be fine.
