Step 1: buy MAF cleaner...Comes in a spray can 5$
Step 2: unplug MAF from the connector plug thingy
Step 3: unscrew the 2 screws holding it in place
Step 4: pull it STRIGHT out so you don’t break it
Step 5: spray the cleaner on it (mainly at the bare wires you see) then let dry
Step 6: reverse to re install.

Takes maybe 7 min if that…

You should be asking about this in the 'TC' section but I suspect that you'll get the same answers. That is, you're the only one getting consistent CELs from a Tenzo CAI. That means that there is something unique to your CAI or installation, probably a leak. You may need to remove the CAI, carefully inspect it for the slightest pinholes in the welds, silicone couplers or other defects and then fix and re-install it very carefully. Depending upon your level of mechanical skill it may even be worth taking it to a local import speed shop for diagnosis. Best of luck.

I've taken it to the local import shop/Toyota (I have a good friend that works there)/ small town family michanic/ everyone lol. It's not causeing any fuel mileage problems nor any real engine trouble. I suppose my car is just picky to how much air it consumes at times lol

No, it's something else.

I have the tenzo r intake. For the last month or so I have been getting a p0101 and maybe a p0176 , car will stumble on low idle and sometimes drop below 400rpms and almost die then back up to 1k-15k then down to 500. I moved the filter up towards the battery and stop using the pipe that goes into the bumper. Cleaned the maf sensor and it will go away for a week or so but always come back while driving around 60-70 consistently. Will be buying a new air filter as the stainless or chrome on the tenzo one has rusted.
This week I think I’m going to put my stock one back one so I can see if it’s just the maf or if it really is the tenzo intake.

@scionfred that, my good sir, was a joke! Lol I'm gunna wait in a good deal on a injen and go that route! @r2d2 I really think its the intake. I've treated my maf sensor like a fragile diamond lol although I haven't had any idle issues!!
