Will a TRD tC exhaust work with the XB's?
found a good deal on a tC exhaust, but will it work with xB2's?
My guess is no... I'd be willing to be the hangers are in different places.
Have you even seen how the tc exhaust is designed compared to our exhaust? And if you want a good deal have a muffler shop fab up a custom exhaust. ;) I'm not tryin to be a dick, just trying to help...
Here's a pic of a tc with aftermarket exhaust...the stock exhaust is like a crx/ef civic if you've ever seen what those look like. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-...k-exhaust4.jpg |
^ That's a bad example of a tC exhaust... the TRD exhaust is nothing like that.

Haha.. I was just going to post that pic so you could see. That same one.
It's a goofy design...I'd rather have a straight pipe axle-back than that thing. (if I had a tc that is)
Ya, it is very odd... but sounds great (IMO). I have it right now, but I'm trying to win a Ptuning exhaust in a raffle they're having.

so the verdict? its not compatible?
Look at where it connects...on the xb2 the pipe has to go OVER the axle so it has a different bend.

Oh and just for the record...while we're talking about exhaust I'll say that the TRD xb exhaust does little to nothing for sound...you need to do the scuba mod either way.
