Turbo'd xB from LastLook Customs NO 56K
Ok, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure. We have yet to dyno this and tune so we have no numbers. Injectors are 550cc and engine management is EManage all custom wired. If you have any wiring questions, hit me up. Sorry for the bad Iphone pics...
The parts came from TurboToyotas. We had to alter some things.

Wow, that engine bay looks cramped as hell!
And would that cone filter even fit with a stock size battery?
But that polished EL mani is B-E-A-UTIFUL!
And I LOVE the gauge placement!
Can't wait to see some numbers!

Actually, its really not that cramped. It could be worse. More room than what I am accustomed to working on.
No, unfortunately the cone filter wouldnt fit with the stock battery. You can always relocate the battery to the trunk. I didnt have that option as the rear is all custom audio gear. There are always options....

is there a general rule or something on where to and not to mount an intercooler?
i thought it was not a good idea to mount the intercooler in front of the radiator...

Car pulls very nicely. I will be tuning it tonight, so we will see how much better it pulls when its tuned.
As for mounting the intercooler in front of the radiator, thats where you would want it. You want the greater flow and the greater flow of COOL air, the better. You should always mount it in front.
The battery is actually smaller than a civic battery.....

that's why the Rado turbo'd xB has the side mounted intercooler...

My intercooler was mounting directly infront of the radiator. infact, it bolted to the support for the ac condenser and front crash bar. The only reason that it would be a problem blocking the radiator would be if you lived in a very hot climate and had poor water flow. In which case the car would be more air cooled then water cooled.

I live in Las Vegas. My IC is in front of my Radiator. My motor temps are fine. My air conditioning is a TAD warmer when stopped in traffic, but when driving, it's still as cold as ever. But motor wise, no issues.

Got to love the Civic Battery.
That looks like an odesey PC680. I had one of those things on my limited class off-road car to save weight, i was always kinda paranoid about breakin down in the middle of the desert and having to continuosly crank the motor to restart, then running out of juice and being completely stranded. How does that battery do supporting a big system(im assuming its a big system since you couldn't mount it in back)?

The battery is pretty horrible. It runs the system alright as long as the battery has had a chance to build up some juice and the car is running. Forget about it if the car is off. Im going to relocate a full size battery at some point.
