13 xB Air Bag Inflator Recall..

Hello...Has anyone let the dealer do the Takata air bag inflator Recall Replacement for the passenger side? I hate to let those guys tear into my car. Supposed to do it next Tuesday,
I fear for the radio, the backup camera, proper fit of all parts etc. Is there much to this? Wonder how much they have to tear apart?

Here is exactly what they need to take apart and remove. https://www.clubxb.com/forums/scion-...h-removal.html If you have things mounted to the dash, remove them beforehand. The radio shouldn't be affected as it does not need to be removed, but they should be disconnecting the battery, although they didn't with my car. That was more to do with it being relocated into the hatch floor, even though I showed them where the disconnect key was for it.

I've done it with my 2010 xB. In fact my buddy at the dealership did it himself. It's relatively simple and not very invasive.

I got the letter last Monday and visited the dealer Wednesday.

No problem whatsoever. In at 12:30 and finished an hour later. They also looked at my front brakes even though I told them I didn’t have TRD calipers.

I got a recall letter today (July 1 2019) for my 2011 xB.
I thought the recall was done but I did some digging and it looks like Toyota won't be done sending notices until mid 2020.

Yep did mine about a month ago, couldn’t tell they went in. Glad I got it done.
