2015 686 Parklan xB Head Unit replacement
 

I have a 2015 686 Parklan xB. How good is the factory Head Unit?? Seems the sound quality is OK but could be better. I don't want to cut anything up or take up precious cargo space with a sub box.

Can the factory head unit be upgraded or do they not make an aftermarket with back up camera? Or maybe it's stupid expensive if they do??

Any other options if the head unit can't be replaced?? I looked into the JL Audio Stealthbox for adding some low end but the damn thing is expensive!!

Did you get the optional Bespoke Radio Option?
 

I fell into it. It was just in the car I had to have (686 Parklan just like you) It is by far the best sound system you could design for the xB.
I do not know the specifics, but do the research before you go after market. It was worth a grand. Includes a modern GPS as well. Musically, It kills.

I have a Parkland. I added a Pioneer BT5600 which is a double DIN, but just about any aftermarket stereo will fit as long you get the correct after-market kid.

I also thought about getting the JL Audio box, but it was terribly expensive IMO. I found a shop here is SoCal on Yelp called Customer Audio Designs in Walnut CA (Los Angeles/Orange County area) that built me a customer box for ~$250. Its a mix of fiberglass and wood. Its completely removable too. No cutting or drilling into my car at all.
