Default Aftermarket alarm systems?

I hope this is the right forum...

I was looking for suggestions on a brand/model of alarm system. I was looking for something that would make noise if bumped too hard, if windows break, if doors open, kill the ignition, etc.

I think the Scion OEM alarm is just glass breakage and ignition-killer, correct? If anyone has detailed specs on this, please let me know where. TIA!

Any suggestions would be great. I am going to downtown Atlanta for a few days later this month and I am just paranoid about my new car!

Thank you!

viper 791..
the scion alarm is crap.. it has no siren, only horn beep. also the 800$ scion alarm does not make any noise when you lock unlock... the viper 791 is my top pic.. viper pays your deductable if the car actually gets stolen, plus it has auto start/turbo timer, can add window rollup / rolldown / and has 4 aux user programable settings, for things like undercarrige led, cold cathodes, etc..

Thanks for the suggestion. I have a manual transmission so I'll decline the remote start feature. Remote window roll down/up sounds nice, though.

Now, to find a reliable shop that I can trust with my...baby...

I would think twice about doing the window thing. I've talked to a few installers and they said it's a risk cuz windows have malfunctioned in the past. i.e. rolling down randomly, not rolling up or down at all. I wanted to do it too but they suggested otherwise. :-(

I was wondering about the security system offered as an extra with the Scion. I noticed it said the alarm would go off if the window was broken, but what if they just punch the lock? This happened to my to my husband's Suburban last year when it was broken into and the alarm never went off.
