Default Anyone Installed A remote Start on 2G???

I am in the midst of installing a remote start on a 2G. However i have been unsuccessful. I have heard rumor of there being a 2nd starter wire and a keysense wire that may need to be wired. Does anyone have any info as to if they are necessary and how they were hooked to the aftermarket remote start unit!

FYI: I am not new to the installs! I have all basic ignition wires connected and tested correctly. Which brings me to my conclusion there is something more!!

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!

yes there is two start wires...add a relay for the second starter or you can splice them together

I had remote start installed a few weeks ago. Ended up having a fuse blow and took it back. The install center (which i have had do many installs) was very complete and figured out that they had linked it into the starter wrong. So be careful and make sure you are reading instructions for the 2008, because it IS different.

I guess im just confused as to how the diode needs to be wired in. Would i put the diode then split the wire into two and run one to each starter wire??? Please any pics or diagrams would help!!

K so that alarm that started this whole thread was scrapped when even the company couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. so now i got a new Viper 791 and well im gonna throw that in saturday...so i ran to the radio shack to pick up a diode.

problem is what volts am i looking for?? they have 1 amp ranging from 50-1000 volts. i did find one 12v but it wasnt 1 amp. so if you could please assist i would appreciate it so i can be prepared for the install!

thanx
