Trying to figure out what's wrong with my buddies Xb. I plug in my phone Galaxy S3 and only left speakers work. I took apart aux port and all is good. I plugged in an Ipod and works fine. Cable is good as well tried 3 of them. Checked settings on my phone and mono is off. Does samsung just not play nice with Scion? Btw my phone works fine in my car and with headphones just not his.

try jiggling the plug or pull it out a lil.

Ya tried that. That is how we actually get it to recognize AUX. Have to jiggle the cable and hit AUX at same time until it gets it. Just weird only Android wont place nice. Also if i plug in Charger while AUX it cuts out right side completely. Unplug charger and right side comes back but at like 4 volume level while left is at 40.

Just keep jiggling it until something happens. That's what I usually do.




Wait, we're talking about the OEM headunit... get an aftermarket unit. Problem solved.
