Default "C" pillar fiberglass pods

I decided I wanted to do some speakers in my c pillars but didn't want it to be permanent because I change stereo setups very often. So, I took pillars out, made me some molds and put some polk audio db 6.5's in there for now. Later on when I redo my interior in couple months, the pods and all the pillars will be painted together. I already have JL C3 components in front doors, so these add a nice rear fill in. I have pics of process but need to upload them. Im going to make a few sets soon for couple friends, so hopefully I can use the mold I made and be able to do these fairly quick

Looking good mang! How do you like those Sound Qubed subs? I have been contemplating getting one myself to go with my Rockford amp. And is that an air ride setup I see in there? O.o

i have had just about every size and series soundqubed sub and love them. I had their low end 12's, hdc 10s, 12s, 18s and nothing but good luck. Right now I am powering a pair of hdc3 12's off a single 2200d until my other 2200d gets here to strap both @.5 ohm. And yes, running air lift v2 autopilot air ride

Word. How do they compare to say a Rockford or JL setup? I had a Rockford amp and a cheap garbage sub that couldn't handle it lol, but when it was running it was great though I just needed a little more setting as 500 was almost perfect for me.

Definitely thinking about running the SoundQubed in my tC, probably the HDC2.5 12.

Severed I believe I have talked to you before on caraudioclassifieds but anyway I love the soundqubed stuff. I have owned sundown, fi, dc, kicker, RF, JL and for the price its hard to beat aq/soundqubed. Their amps are on same level as sundown and good bit cheaper mainly because u only order directly from them. Their subs as in the hdc3 or hdc4 are beast for all around music, competing. They don't have quite the low end as a sundown x or something along those lines but still impressive. I have used every series of their amps and never a problem even running .5 daily strapped on previous setups

I hae ran JL w7, the new w6v3 Rockford T2, punch series and all are good, but cannot handle the power as a soundqubed, sundown, fi or something along those lines. I installed a pair of hdc2.5's in a fellow club members tc ran off a single polk audio 1000.1 and sound awesome. We did subs up with a single 6" aero port to the rear. I will look for some pics of it and post tonight when I get off work.

As far as power handling, just for instance in my last setup, I ran a single soundqubed hdc3 10" off a single soundqued 2200d @.5 ohm without any problems at all
