I’ve been using a dash camera in my 2014 xB for a little over a year now and thankfully it’s been totally uneventful. Mine is a Polaroid PD-E53H (1080P) and included a 32GB micro SD card. Installation was straightforward with the power cable tucked along the headliner, down the A-pillar and just below the glove box to the power outlet in the center console. You can record with or without the view visible on the small screen.
