Looking to make my headunit area a lot nicer.

This is it right now. As you can tell, there is a nice gap in my headunit. Does anyone make anything to fix that gap? Its a pioneer AVH-P4000DVD

Thanks for the link its just meant for a 2 inch in dash. My in dash is as thick as our stock decks just a little skinnier

Weird, I plugged in the car and model head unit. Crutchfield maybe screwed something up. I know there is a kit for the gaps. Just look around Crutchfield.

This has a lot of info you won't need, because it's the install instructions for the navi system, but the basics of getting into the dash to remove the stock radio and put in a double-din are all there.

Me and my brother-in-law did it actually. Its easy to get into the dash, its just a matter then of doing the wiring which I don't understand lol

i tried to take out the stock one today but the only problem i had was the 4 screws are in really difficult places to get them out, and theyre on pretty tight too. ill try again after i borrow some tools from a friend and see how it goes
