I currently have a JL 10w7 and a JL 500/1 amp. I went to Tweeter and paid retail for the most part and got a sealed box. Needed more bass got a ported box and sounds very nice and deep but my question is a 13w7 and a 1000/1 pushing it on a stock alternator and battery...VERY BAD????.....need some suggestions.

I can live with it for now but it either a banging system or none....probably put a nice size tv in there.

Let me tell you I know very little about subs and amps.....however I know enough that our meager 80ish alternator is not gonna cut a 1000/1 system I think

Give me some suggestions and if I can be so bold what about two 13w7's

Hmmmmm.....Interesting question being that I was faced with the same dillema a few months ago.........I had a 1000/1 in my closet for about a year and I never got around to purchasing a 13W7...........so I sold the amp and installed a 250/1 and a 10W3V3 in my tC......sounds good but sometimes a wish I had a 500/1 with (2) 10's...... I think the 1000/1 would have been fine in my tC if maybe I would have added a capacitor and then upgraded to a Optima Yellowtop Battery.....(my tC rattles enough as it is, the 13W7 would have been dirty...)
