I bought a backup camera and installed into one of the license light hole, but I can't find any (12v) hot wire to power the camera? I checked every wires with my DMM, but there are no wire with power.

Anyone can help?

Do I have to run it all the way from the front of the car to the trunk and the backdoor? If yes, do I run it from the top or the bottom?

If you want constant power then you can get it at the hatch light but I suspect that you need a switched power source which you will need to go to the front of the car for. It is possilbe that you can use the reverse wire if you only want it to be powered when the car is in reverse, you can get that at the harness on the drivers side going to the taillights for the 2011-13 or going to the bumper for the 2008-10.

Thanks again Greg! I guess I will need to lay a new wire from the front then. Is it easier to drop the ceiling to route the wire or go underneath the carpet and go up from C pillar?

Under the carpet, pulling the headliner involves pulling all the pillars as well.
