How to remove the front seat cover on a 2012 RS 9.0

I have a 2012 RS 9.0 and noticed a small split in the driver's seat. The RS 9.0 has custom seat covers that, as best I can tell, are installed over top of the standard factory seats. I would like to remove the bottom seat cover on the front driver's side so I can reinforce the back and prevent the split from spreading.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the seat covers off without removing the seat?

in most cases it is far better to remove the 4 bolts holding the seat in and unplug the 2 or 3 connectors. also the cushion cover is often trapped by the seat track assembly. is the split on the outer side of the cover? if it is then you have to be careful how you reinforce it (it is designed to tear when the side airbag deploys).

I was able to figure it out. The RS 9.0 bottom seat cover is held on by a series of buckles and clips under the seat. There's no need to remove the seat, although it would make getting the cover off easier since it's very difficult to see the clips under the seat. Only one of them was difficult to remove and reattach (the one on the right side). I'm not sure I got it routed back exactly the way it was, but it works.
