hey guys. so ive been having an on going problem now. about a year ago i installed my subs and amp with no problems by stereo kind they did a pretty good job and i never had any problems up until now. during the period my car was in pieces i somehow managed to puncture one of my sub cones. so i replaced the subs. the subs are 12" JBL btw. when i installed the new sub i soldered the wires to the terminals in the exact same orientation as the others ones instead of using the slide on connectors and screwed the new sub back into place. now ive been having connection problems with my bass frequencies and im fairly certain my ipod connection/ aux audio input conenctions are to blame... ive been noticing a fluctuating random pattern of bass power. sometimes its full on like i know it should be other times it cuts out 30-50 percent sometimes then comes back randomly and sometime it doesnt. but heres the the thing. CDs work just fine full bass power. sometimes ill be listening to the ipod. get sick of the sound quality and switch the CD. the bass takes a second then kicks in full and stays that way. with my ipod ive tried both the USB port and the aux jack and i still get the same problem. although the USB port is worse than the AUX jack. ive tried other ipods and new cables and still the same thing. ive always been using the same music and i always get high quality music. i mostly listen to dubstep/electro and other forms of electronic dance music. so has anybody had any similar experience or has some advice to share?

ive tried taking into the toyota dealer but when i did sure enough for THAT period of time it worked just fine but i tried telling them but they didnt listen to me.
