I have a KVT-815DVD I'm trying to sell because I want the DDX8019. Double din looks so much cooler than the flip ups IMO.

Whispaz,
Yea, I like the double din ones, they look more like a factory fit.

xseveredveganx,
How much are you asking for your KVT-815dvd and have you priced the DDX8019? I work at a stereo shop here. The DDX8019 is awesome, a guy that I work with has a white 08 xb2 and has the DDX8019, its basically just like the DDX7019, but is Excelon and has 5v pre outs, and a couple other extras.

dq sexton,

I paid about $1400 (I know, ouch) for the KVT-815DVD a couple years ago. I'd be happy getting $600 out of it. Best price I found on the DDX8019 was $800.

If you know anyone that wants the KVT, hit me up. I'm on ebay, too. Same screen name as here.

But do you think my asking price is a good deal? Even with the ipod adapter?

Lol!

My steering wheel controls work with my Kenwood DDX7019. I used an interface module from PAC http://www.pac-audio.com/products/pr...heel+Interface . The part# is SWI-JACK . As far as the IPOD/AUX goes, my Kenwood DDX7019 has ipod/aux cables on it. I haven't tried to see if I can make the factory Scion ones work yet.

Sweet. Maybe I should post it up on this site. I have it on another forum I'm on (www.realmofexcursion.com/forum) and there's marginal interest.

And I think keeping steering wheel controls is sick. I wish I got the PAC adapter for mine, but I'll manage. I've been thinking about just keeping the stock H/U and using the RF 3sixty.2. I'd retain all the factory stuff and I'd have the full adjustability.

But no DVD.

I'm actually going to check around tonight for wiring stuff to see if I could wire the stock Ipod interface to an aftermarket one. Shouldn't be too hard.

Yea, I don't think it will be hard to get the stock ipod interface to work on an aftermarket head unit. If it isn't to busy today at the shop, I'll try to look into it.
