I am looking into purchasing a new 2013 XB. I have noticed that all the factory radios come with bluetooth and nav? Is this correct?

I see they have a set of RCA outputs that can be used for subwoofer. Does the factory head unit have subwoofer control or just line level outputs?

There is subwoofer control built into the stock receiver. To activate the subwoofer output, hold down the volume wheel for 2 seconds with the stereo off and the option will be there. Just remember to properly set your RCA input gains on your subwoofer amp or you can have issues with clipping, which will damage your amp AND subwoofer.

also what he is saying is that whatever stereo you get and most of the time its just a base pioneer they all have pre outs and sub control... the upgraded alpine stereo is the way to go its the one im getting soon you can get them used for around 200 instead of paying toyota 700 for the upgrade

All the XBs do NOT come with NAV standard - that's a pricey option from the dealer but it's nowhere near worth it.

As others have mentioned, the stock stereo does come with outputs that you can use - i took my 2013 xb to an audio guy and had a sub + amp installed which sounds great using the stock head unit.

Whatever you do, do NOT get any factory upgraded stereo on your XB. I have had dealers tell me they won't sell me the car without it, to which i said FINE, and i just went to another dealer that wasn't trying to screw me.
