Parking and Tail Lights not working..

Hi all. Last week the right front turn signal shorted out (moisture) and fried the socket on my xB. I replaced the pigtail, socket and bulb. The parking and tail lights still don't work in either 1st or 2nd position on the switch. However, they all DO work all other times. (Flashers, key fob, turn signal etc.)
Fuse appears to be good. And, Rt. signal no longer flashes rapidly. I doubt it would be the switch because the warning ding sounds when I turn it on even though there's no lights working. Any ideas as to what's next will be most appreciated. I'd prefer to not spend a bunch of money on a 12 y.o. car.
2008 bought in May 2007.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, sounds like the excess current may have fried the light switch. Is there a way to test the wires going into the switch? Or perhaps using a spare wire, check the connector going into the light switch to see if you can get the lights to work that way?
Can't believe the fuse didn't blow - might want to replace that fuse anyway. If it isn't going to blow the current could melt the wires etc.

Worked

Thanks. As a matter of fact I changed it last night anyway. Did the trick. May have fried just enough, thankfully.
