I was wondering, not a huge deal if it doesnt fit, I can return it
but did anyone attempt to install it for the scion xb 2015?

I’m trying to install a set I bought on eBay. The seller neglected to mention that it didn’t come with the wiring harnesses. Do you happen to have any pics of the wires?

 

as long as its oem it is fine, it will be tapped into existing wiring under the sill

Thank you for the installation instructions. I'm still struggling to figure out how to:
1. Gain a better understanding of how to create a custom wiring harness to install using the instructions
or
2. Locate new points to wire the sills

Have you read the instructions? Do you think the negative wire connects under the dash and the positive wire connects to the B-pillar?

 

I cant really help you with the wiring install as I took my scion to the autoshop and they installed it for me. Sorry.

 

Other way around for the connections. The door pin wire they list being used is a negative trigger and the white/red wire in the kick panel is a constant power wire. No real need to make a custom harness unless you want to make it easy to unplug. You can just run the wires directly.
