How bright are the white when they're not blinking? I already have HIDs. I just don't want to have it like another headlight to oncoming drivers. Is it more of a marker light than a bright light when not blinking?

Only thing holding me back.

They are bright but it won't be like headlight...
It's designed to be parking light white color...

They're not bright like headlights, but the white color compliments 5000k or 6000k HIDs very nicely.

I've been wondering where you would put a switchback bulb in a 2011-12 xB.

In the 2008-10 the parking light & front turn signal share the same bulb so the switchback serves a purpose, but in the '11/'12 they are two separate bulbs and the turn signal bulb is only lit when it is in the blinking mode. Am I missing something here?

We have high demand for switch back style for 11 and up models..
So we came out with a conversion kit to make it work... so you get switchback features...

So does it convert the normally unlit turn signal bulb into the white LED like the '08-10, and then allow it to blink yellow when the turn signal is turned on? If that is correct, then what do you do with the little 194 bulb above the turn signal... remove it? leave it alone? switch it out to LED also?

It will basically make it function like the 08-10 with dual color..
It's your choice if you want to keep the stock parking light, if you want keep it or remove it or LED bulb... that is totally up to you..
