In my '08 xB I only have the iPod/AUX ports and wanted to switch to the usb/aux ports like in the newer models. Is this even possible and where can I but the part?

 

There may be one. Search around the web to see if there is one.

I, too, have 08 Xb. I installed an aftermarket head unit AVH 3500 instead. This unit came with an USB extension cord because the USB port was on the back.

Since the aftermarket head unit came with Bluetooth, I had no need for the stock Bluetooth that came with the car and the buttons on the right of the shifter.

If you want a USB port in your 08 you have to change the radio to a newer stock unit or go aftermarket. The 08 doesn't have the inputs for it.
