Default 2008 Scion xB Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System

I just found this on eBay with a buy it now for 99.00 or best offer, I made offer of 80.00 and got it. It should be here in few days and didn't know much about it. It seems really cheap compared to K&N and other brands. I thought the carbon fiber would look pretty cool. Anyone have any feed back on this unit?

It's def cheap looking, that's for sure. Looks like all just generic tubing cut to size to fit our cars....

Where will you put your MAF (or whatever it is) sensor?

I think you very well may have wasted $80...

Hmmm... Never thought about it that way... Don't mind if I do!

Not in Utah, though. Strip clubs here are lame.

Hopefully they're better in Ohio.

uh sorry to spoil the party but that looks like some flex hose attached to a carbon fiber filter thing. and having something that has such a small opening at the end seems quite restrictive. yeah, and there is no place to put the MAF sensor...

sorry man i think you might have wasted 80...

That accordion flex tube is going to absolutely ruin the airflow!!

If you can, CANCEL THE ORDER ON THE P.O.S., or stop payment on your credit card NOW and then send it back!

We're here to help, next time ask questions before jumping into a pile of ****.

BTW, I'm not trying to harsh on you personally, we live and learn from our mistakes...

Screw me once, shame on you; screw me twice, shame on me.

I sincerely hope you can get your money back; then look at TRD CAI, K&N, AIM, Injen, Weapon R; all great.

I saw that a few weeks ago on ebay as well. I LOL because I couldn't believe they wanted $100 bucks for that POS. Hopefully you can cancel the order because you just got ripped dude.

Gotta love the 25 hp/41 tq... (rounded off). That H3 must have had dirty underwear stuffed in it's stock air box.
