Lemme just say that it is best that no pics of the two new vehicles show up early on ScionLife if there are any that were taken at the Miami Event... Drawings would be great, drawings, or even tracings made from pics would be great, but if actual event pics show up before Scion releases to the public, we'll have to make them vanish.

Speaking of pics, I want a poster-size copy of that huge collage they had at the Convention Center event of all those Scions and ScionLife folks. I know just where I would mount it. :D

Well actually... that sounds kind of cool. In fact, that description sounds really cool! I was kind of dreading it being the t2B, but that doesn't sound too much different at all; sounds like it's a box after all.

On the poster thing, I'll stop by my dealer and request it. Always good to start at the bottom. Maybe if enough people do that, it'll be a perk for new xB buyers.

And as for price, I seriously doubt the price will go up much, just because it's Scion, and they've done a good job of keeping everything affordable so far. I'm really impressed with this company. It reminds me of how cool my workplace used to be before we got bigger and bigger. Scion has Toyota to do that for them.

From the descriptions given at the Miami event, my guess is that the new xB is probably based either on the platform used by the Toyota Avensis wagon sold in Europe or the new JDM Corolla Fielder wagon. I wouldn't be surprised the new xB uses the same engine as the tC coupe. Styling sounds like the vehicle is based heavily off the T2B concept car.

My questions:

1) Was what you guys saw a prototype? I assume it was, and that they haven't started production yet, but do we know for sure?

2) Where are these new "xBs" being built? Is the old xB factory now making JDM bBs and the new US xB will be built somewhere else?

As to the engine for the new xB, a certain Race Driver for Scion let drop that his team
was developing a new turbo for the tC and that it would also fit on the new xB. Read
into that what you will.
