Sorry new to site,but 600+ for alternator replacement at stealer aint happening. So any help greatly appreciated. 2 bolts 3 plugs 1 nut is no problem. But how do i loosen belt??

Just get a good re-manufactured unit. I work for Napa and our remanned units come with a full lifetime warranty and ask for the free road-side assistance that comes with the remanned starters and alternators. I VERY rarely ever see a customer come back with any issues with the Napa remanned alternators or starters.
