I see that they're listing the 2006 EPA fuel economy numbers for the xB1 on their 2008 xB2 inventory page.

$709 for wheel covers?
$873 for the Premium Audio?

What a joke.

The SET mainframes (from which the data is gathered) have some whackiness to them. Those prices aren't correct, but they should have the correct ones up there by the time the B2 hits the ground.

BTW, don't pay any attention to the colors you see on the internet, they don't give a fair representation. All of us have the new magnetic color strips now, so wander on down to take a look.

The teal one I found was crazy decked out, sheesh.

Now I see why my mom wants the autodimming mirror, for $150, why not.

Mine is decked out too. But I'm not trying to sell it right away. It can stay on my lot for 6 mos for all I care, I need something to ride and drive folks in.

Thanks for the info
Wow, over 17K for base model auto (including destination charge), it is still a good deal but I am glad I got my 2006 with the better gas mileage.

I was going to get the new xB, my wife and I traded hers in for a new matrix instead. The 1.8 is much better on gas than the 2.4 and with people speculating on gas going for over 3.50-4.00 bucks a gallon this summer I thought the matrix would suit us better.

Floor mats are an option on the $60k Land Cruiser. It's already been stated that we are experiencing some issues with the data.

The problem with those magnetic things is their flexibility. The NBM one at my dealer was ruined because someone flexed the heck out of it and all of the clearcoat was cracked or broken off.

Just put a $500 refundable deposit on mine at my dealership. Apparently they have no fees beyond tax($1,118.18), destination($580), and plate ($144). Brings my total to $17,092.18 after my $400 graduate rebate!

Lets hear it for Day Scion!

wheel covers are standard equipment and if a dealers are charging extra for them then that's just not right. what's next, charging for the air in the tires? that kinda dealer flimflam is horsecrap.

the pricing you see on the list is for additional / replacements. The wheel covers are not extra otherwise.

The floormats, however are extra, and since I will be replacing them with custom mats anyhow, I just chose not to get them.

If your dealers are charging extra for the covers, than you should contact Scion directly, since they are standard

agreed, but there is no evidence that it is flimflammery just yet. as of now, it is simply a data error. when you see the car in person, just look at the window sticker, it will tell all, and Federally mandated to be accurate.

"what will they do next charge for air in the tires?"
When my fiance tried to buy her 2007 honda accord they wanted to charge $200 for hydrogen infused air of some sort. I told them to shove it. I would bring my own air pump and fill the tires.
